James E. Butcher

Höegh Autoliners Inc.
Mr. Butcher joined Höegh Autoliners when the company opened its U.S. subsidiary, called Autoliners Inc., in 1973, as a “founding member” of the staff and Operations Manager. He also serves as Chairman of the other Höegh companies Alliance Navigation LLC, and Port Dolphin Energy LLC. Höegh Autoliners Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Höegh Autoliners AS, an Oslo Norway based global ocean carrier specializing in the transport of vehicles and other rolling cargoes.

Captain S.Y. Kuo

Evergreen Group
A qualified master mariner, Captain S.Y. Kuo joined Evergreen in September 1970, just two years after the company was founded. He served aboard several of the company’s vessels before coming ashore in 1974. In mid-1975, he was transferred to the company’s New York office and was instrumental in establishing Evergreen’s inaugural full container service between the Far East and the East Coast of North America. Since in June 2002, he holds responsibilities for activities in the Americas.

Robert McEllrath

International Longshore & Warehouse Union
Mr. McEllrath was named to his second three-year term as president of the ILWU in 2009. A career-long dockworker, he was elected international vice president for the Mainland in 2000. Mr. McEllrath has extensive contract negotiating experience, having served as the representative for five small ports in the Columbia River area on the Longshore Negotiating Committee for the 1993 and 1996 contracts.

James McKenna

Mr. McKenna directs the association’s principal business activity, negotiating and administering maritime labor agreements with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) on the U.S. West Coast. Prior to joining PMA in 2003, he was chief operating officer at Horizon Lines (formerly CSX). Mr. McKenna has nearly 30 years of domestic and international maritime industry experience that includes overseeing vessel operations, procurement, terminal operations and labor relations activities.

Mr. Bloom has overseen a period of tremendous growth and organizational development for the company. During his tenure, INTTRA has grown from its start up phase in 2001 to become the largest business-to-business e-commerce portal in the industry.

Douglas A. Tilden

Mr. Tilden was recently appointed senior strategic advisor for the Advisory Board of
Ports America. In June 2008, Mr. Tilden was promoted to Chairman of Ports America
Group from his previous position as president of Ports America and CEO of Marine
Terminals Corp. Douglas Tilden’s career in international transportation began in 1969, working for United States Lines in New York as an assistant pier superintendent.

New York Container Terminal
Mr. Devine is responsible for the operation as well as the modernization and expansion of the 180 acre New York Container Terminal facility on Staten Island. Over the last seven years he has worked closely with both the Port Authority and New York City Economic Development Corporation to expand the berth, revitalize the Staten Island rail connection and introduce new state of the art container handling equipment, including four post panamax Liebherr container cranes.

Mr. Ebeling is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of American Roll-On Roll-Off Carriers (ARC) established in 1990. ARC is a U.S. flag liner shipping company which operates eight U.S. Flag Ro-Ro ships between the United States, the Middle East and Europe. Mr. Ebeling is also Founder, Chairman and CEO of American Auto Logistics (AAL), a logistics management firm which manages the global transportation of all military service members’ vehicles.
