Alan McCorkle was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Yusen Terminals LLC in August 2019. He joined NYK Ports/Yusen Terminals in November 2014 as Vice President of West Coast Operations and was then promoted to Senior Vice President in April 2016. Prior to joining NYK ports, Alan was with the A.P. Moller–Maersk Group for 25 years holding a number of positions of increasing responsibility including leading the development of the Pier 400 terminal in Los Angeles becoming its Managing Director when the facility opened in 2002 and General Manager, APM Terminals (Jamaica) Ltd. in 2004, where he managed all port operations in Jamaica before returning to Southern California becoming Vice President of West Coast Operations in 2005.
Alan currently serves on the Board of the Pacific Merchant Shipping Association in addition to being a member of the Advisory Committee for the Center for International Trade and Transportation (CITT) at California State Long Beach.
Alan holds a B.S. in Business Management from Clemson University and is a graduate of the Executive Development Programs at Cornell University and IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Susan Coffey works closely with all stakeholders in the supply chain and logistics industry. With more than 40 years of experience in the transportation and maritime logistics industry, she has built a strong reputation for strategic business development, industry leadership, and customer relationship management.
Sue began her career at Crowley and Sea Land while attending Bernard Baruch College in New York City. During her early career, she was part of the team supporting Operation Desert Storm, assisting with the positioning and logistical support efforts for the U.S. military, as well as supporting activities tied to the rebuilding of Kuwait following the war. Her early experience with Sea Land provided a strong foundation in international shipping and intermodal transportation, helping shape a career dedicated to the growth and advancement of the maritime industry.
Over the course of her career, Sue has held positions with leading transportation organizations including Sea Land and CSX. Her overseas tenure in Ireland with Eagle Global Logistics expanded her knowledge of air freight operations and global logistics. She also served at the Port of Tacoma, now part of The Northwest Seaport Alliance, where she oversaw business development activities focused on expanding port utilization, strengthening customer partnerships, and supporting regional trade growth. Today, Sue is part of the Leadership Team at The Pacific Companies based in Long Beach.
In addition to her operational and commercial experience, Sue has been actively involved in industry leadership and advocacy through her work with the Containerization & Intermodal Institute (CII), where she has held various leadership positions during her tenure. Her long-standing involvement with CII reflects her commitment to advancing the intermodal transportation industry and supporting collaboration across the global supply chain.
Throughout her career, Sue Coffey has been recognized for her industry insight, extensive network of relationships, and dedication to delivering customer-focused transportation and logistics solutions.
Sue credits much of her success to the support and encouragement of her family, friends, colleagues, and mentors throughout her career. Their unwavering belief in her and the many relationships built over the years have played an important role in both her professional and personal journey.
