Robert F. Sappio is Chief Executive Officer of SeaCube Container Leasing Limited, one of the largest operating lessors of containers in the world. Mr. Sappio joined SeaCube in 2014 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in 2017. In this role, Mr. Sappio has cemented SeaCube’s position as one of the world’s leading intermodal equipment lessors with an emphasis on refrigerated equipment solutions.
Highly regarded for his leadership in the liner shipping field, Mr. Sappio has a background of more than 30 years with APL during the time it was developing its modern containership fleet. During his tenure with APL, he held several management positions in Asia and the United States, including Vice President of Greater China, and most recently, Senior Vice President, overseeing all APL activities in the Trans-Pacific, Trans-Atlantic and Latin America. After leaving APL, Bob Sappio was head of North America for Rickmers-Linie and was with the consulting firm of Alvarez & Marsal.
Mr. Sappio is a graduate of Wagner College in New York City and has completed the Advanced Executive program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Life Member of the US Navy Institute and US Naval War College foundation.

Brenda Martin
Former Vice President of Terminal Services
Husky Terminal and Stevedoring LLC
Brenda recently retired as Vice President for Husky Terminal in Tacoma, Washington after 26 years in the Maritime industry. Brenda began her career as Marine Manager at APL (American President’s Line) at the Port of Los Angeles in 1997.
Brenda’s industry experience and career growth was centered around marine terminal operations. After APL, she then served as Terminal Manager for Pasha Stevedoring, Operations Manager for APM Terminals, and Assistant Director at ITS (International Transportation services) port of Long Beach before transferring to Husky Terminal as AVP of Operations in 2018.
Brenda was promoted to Vice President of Terminal Services at Husky Terminal in 2020. Her responsibilities included all regulatory compliance regarding Customs and Border Patrol, US Coast Guard, Department of Ecology Washington State, Net Zero 2040 compliance and Environmental Social Governess (ESG) processes and procedures. She served as FSO (Facility Security Officer), collaborating with the Port of Tacoma and contractors regarding terminal projects.
