Jahan Byrne Matson

Jahan Byrne is the director of corporate marketing for Matson Logistics, a Top 25 3PL and supply chain solutions provider, and part of ocean carrier, Matson. At Matson Logistics, he oversees all brand and corporate marketing for the $800 million enterprise, which provides land transportation, warehousing and distribution, and international supply chain services to companies ranging from Fortune 500 to start-ups. Previously, he served in sales, marketing, and brand management roles at several ocean transportation and logistics companies, including American President Lines, Horizon Lines, National Shipping, and the Pasha Group. He also led business development initiatives at the Port of Oakland. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he has held posts in Washington, Hawaii, and Singapore.

Jahan is a member of the board of directors of the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association and chairs its Governance Committee. He is also an appointee to the Mode Committee of CSCMP’s Transportation Center of Excellence. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Pacific Transportation Association, a San Francisco-basedtrade and transportation organization. He held the roles of vice president, president, and chairman during a decade of service.

Jahan is active in his local community, having served on the board of directors and marketing chair of The Crestmont School, the oldest cooperative private school west of the Mississippi. He is also a volunteer at the San Francisco Opera and is a board member of the Wagner Society of Northern California.
